About
Danielle Tischer, MSW, LCSW, CCTP
Empathetic. Goal-Oriented. Trauma-Informed.
With over 10 years of experience in the field, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) specializing in helping young adults and adults navigate challenges like trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and other life obstacles. I also work with individuals looking to accomplish specific goals they feel stuck on, providing both compassionate support and practical tools to help move forward.
I take an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and trauma-informed care. In addition to these, I also utilize Brainspotting, a powerful tool that can help clients process and work through trauma or manage stress in a more profound way. This flexible approach allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, ensuring that we find what works best for you.
I enjoy working with college students, young professionals, and individuals navigating career transitions or major life decisions. I also have experience supporting those facing medical challenges and older adults. Whether you’re addressing long-term struggles or working toward a specific goal, I am here to help you find clarity, make meaningful progress, and achieve what matters most to you.

Private Practice Experience

For the past six years, I have had the opportunity to support clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, ADHD and stress management. I have also worked extensively with individuals facing medical challenges, including chronic illness, pain management, and the psychological impact of physical health challenges. This work has involved helping clients cope with the emotional toll of their medical conditions, improve their quality of life, and find ways to manage stress, anxiety, and depression that often accompany long-term health struggles. Whether navigating the challenges of a new diagnosis, coping with chronic conditions, or adjusting to life after surgery or medical treatment, my goal is always to support my clients in fostering both physical and emotional well-being.
Through individual therapy and family therapy, I have created a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience.
